Sustainable Spas Are a Standard

Diamond Spas commitment to the environment started at the inception of the company back in 1996. Those first products off the line were all fabricated with recycled content sheet metal. Fifteen years ago, building green was not even a thought in many minds, but building a sustainable spa has always been a standard at DSI. The green build starts at the beginning. Recycled stainless steel sheets which recyclable percentage lies between 60%-80% on the stainless and 90%-95% on the copper. Custom spa designs are then cut out of the recycled sheet metal with a water jet which uses recycled water to make those intricate cuts that are needed in custom work. All metal remnants that are not used in the fabrication process is recirculated back into recycling. Once the product is finished in the manufacturing plant, the vessel is then 100% recyclable. All spas are built with chlorine free components. Using a ultraviolet sterilizer and hydrogen peroxide together replaces the need for chlorine. Diamond spas is proud to remain true to the philosophy of doing well by the earth.
