We are partial to water here at Diamond Spas. Anything involving pools and water we are interested! The excitement is already starting to develop about the upcoming games. With the Worlds competition ending last week, and seeing some great wins by Michael Phelps, Ryan Lochte and the new one to watch out for our own Denverite, Missy Franklin who is sure to be a standout at next years 2012 games. We were excited to see the images coming out of London of the new Aquatics Centre which will host swimming, diving, synchronized swimming, and the swimming component of the Pentathlon. The Aquatics Centre will hold 17,500 spectators during the Games. After the Games the Centre will provide two 50m swimming pools with moveable floors and separation booms, a diving pool and dry diving area for a full range of community and elite use. All 3 pools hold a total of 10 million litres of water. GO USA!
