Hoisting with Rigging Points

Part of designing/purchasing your copper or stainless steel swimming pool and/or hot tub is planning ahead of time how you get it into place. If the tub is smaller and is going into a easily accessible space than a bobcat with long forks maybe all you need to get the luxury spa in place, but it the tub needs to be hoisted to a multi story or above or over the house, a rigging company will be needed.

If it is decided that a crane will be needed for your project, talk to your Diamond Spas Sales Rep to ensure rigging points are installed onto the pool or spa so chain slings can be easily hooked into for rigging.

There are 2 types of rigging points, top mount and bottom mount rigs.

Top mounts are fabricated into the frame of the spa for eye bolts. These are ideal for spas that will be dropped into a valuted space and straps will not get trapped when dropped into the space.

Bottom Mounts are mounted to the bottom frame of the hot tub. These bottom mounts are preferred if not going into a tight space as the top mounts will need to have a covering for the rigging points.
