Luxury Hot Tub at Sea

Diamond_Spa-2

We may all not be able to afford our own private yacht on the the high seas, but we can all dream right? Diamond Spas latest project was a custom stainless steel spa that was fabricated for a international yacht application. This project was a complex one with the clear acrylic floors in the foot well and side walls. The ship builder came to Diamond Spas looking for an experience at sea. He wanted to give the person sitting in the custom spa a feeling of being in the ocean. Diamond Spas was able to build to specification, the builders ideas and expectations with clear acrylic walls that gives the illusion of an infinity edge look. With two stainless steel hydrotherapy spas with clear acrylic walls siding and an acrylic pane in the bottom of the foot well that looks down into the ocean, the person in the tub can look into the sea just below their feet. Talking to one of the guests after her trip on the yacht and she said she hardly left the hot tub. Sounds like a nice vacation to us..hmm luxury yacht and luxury hot tub, I think I can handle that!

The Bathtub-A Travel Luxury

Copper Bathtub at Terranea Resort

Christmas week is just five short days away..Doesn't that get your heart thumping-in a "oh my gosh I haven't even started shopping yet" kind of moment? Well for me, that is how I am feeling. Looking forward to pack the bags and head out to the snowy Rocky Mountains for a few days of rest and relaxation. I don't know about you, but I am a "bath-a-holic" . Yes I have coined the phrase. I admit it..my family knows it..and I am not ashamed. I love my baths and am kinda addicted to them. Perfect that I get to write about them everyday huh? Every night after dinner and the craziness of getting kids settled, I start the hot water in my luxury bath. It is a almost nightly ritual. However when I go away to a hotel, or vacation rental, the first thing I check for in the home away from home is a beautiful tub. OK I actually don't even care if it is beautiful but that definitely helps-clean is even better, but I NEED a tub!

5 Steps Before Purchasing a Copper Tub or Sink

Posted by Krista Payne on Nov 6, 2012 2:22:43 PM

Diamond Spas Custom Copper Sink
We have heard it all too often. A person who has ordered their custom copper sink or copper bath from a discounted online distributor to find that the product that arrives is nothing what they expected. There are some online companies that sell copper and stainless steel products through middleman that are made overseas and are made with the low quality materials. Here is a checklist that can help you avoid making some costly mistakes:
Ask where the product is made?
Many distributors are having their products made overseas and the quality is lacking with the quality of materials and workmanship. Diamond Spas entire product line is proudly made in the USA, right here in Denver Colorado! No middleman-We ship directly to our customers.
Check the thickness of the copper and stainless steel products.
The thicker the better when it comes to sheet metal design. Thinner metal can lead to leaking, and noisy water fills. Diamond Spas uses the thickest sheet metal possible for our products fabrication. We use 304L stainless steel on the bath line and 316 L stainless steel on the spa line. For our copper products we use .080.
Ask for sample material.
Before you purchase, ask the company if they can send you out a sample piece of metal so you can feel the thickness and see if it is up to your standards. This is something Diamond Spas does on a regular basis. We want our customers to know what they are getting with no surprises.
Do some research on the Better Business Bureau website.
This is a simple and quick thing to do and can tell you a lot about a company. Diamond Spas has an A+ rating..and NO complaints in three years. Now check out our competitors.. Take special care to see what the complaints are for..quality of the products? Here is the BBB rating for Diamond Spas.
